Raised on the rugged west coast of Ireland, Gerard learned the value of hard work early—laboring beside his father on masonry projects during summers and school breaks. He graduated top of his class in apprenticeship school, mastering bricklaying, stone masonry, and architectural drawing.

In 1990, he immigrated to the U.S., initially settling in Boston before returning to Ireland to complete his training. By 1993, he returned to the Bay Area, working in high-end custom masonry tied to his Irish roots. He simultaneously pursued an accounting degree at Heald Business College while working full-time and later joined the U.S. Army Reserves to give back to the country that welcomed him.

In 1997, Gerard launched Artisan Masonry, building a reputation for quality, dependability, and on-time project delivery. After a serious vehicle accident made the physical demands of masonry more challenging, he began to explore a new path—real estate. What began as a meaningful side endeavor grew steadily. Over time, Gerard gradually repositioned himself to now working full-time in real estate, bringing with him decades of experience in construction, problem-solving, and client service.

Gerard is meticulous, strategic, and passionate about doing things right. Clients describe him as a perfectionist with a personal touch.
